Itinerary

Day 1: Johannesburg / Harare Airport / Lake Kariba

Flight to Lake Kariba / 90 minutes
The cost includes return economy airfare with SAA from Johannesburg to Harare Airport (depart: 11h25 – arrive: 13h05). You will be met by our representative who will assist you to the light aircraft for your flight to Bumi Hills Airstrip at Lake Kariba.
Meet your guide on arrival with a 5-minute transfer to the lodge. There is a varied range of exciting and relaxing activities to choose from including game drives (vehicle & boat), fishing, and stunning game walks.
Stay: Bumi Hills Safari Lodge (Lake View Room)
Meals: Lunch, dinner, breakfast, and a selection of alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks
Day 2: Lake Kariba

Enjoy a full day of discovering the shoreline of Lake Karibu and one of Africa’s finest wilderness locations. Explore Bumi Hill’s private concession by open safari vehicle, giving you a full 180-degree panoramic view of the African savanna, in search of iconic animal species. Or with the lake as your playground, spend your days cruising on the water or meandering the surroundings on a walking safari. Lake Kariba is a fantastic fishing location, and the famous tiger fish is found in abundance in addition to a variety of other species.

Day 3: Lake Kariba

The lodge sits high on a ridge with incredible expansive views across Lake Kariba and the shoreline below. It's the ultimate destination to unwind and relax or enjoy a multitude of ways to explore the lake and its surroundings.

Day 4: Lake Kariba / Harare Airport / Johannesburg

Flight: To Harare (90-minutes)
Early morning activity before enjoying breakfast at the lodge. Transfer to Bumi Hills Airstrip for your flight with a light aircraft to Harare Airport for your onwards flight home, departing at 13h55, arriving 15h35.
